I grew up on a hilltop overlooking the ocean, below a waterfall and surrounded by rainforest out the back of Byron Bay. Without commercial television I developed a fascination with the realm of pictures and the stories they told, inspired by nature and books.
Photography has been a constant part of my life. My grandfather documented everything on his Rolleiflex camera and his pictures of the world intrigued me so much that it started my interest in photography.
I am more than ever inspired by the world and all of the beautiful places I am privileged to visit and the people I meet on my journeys. I strive to capture and create wherever I go.
My work has appeared in varied newspaper and magazine publications including The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sun Herald, Australian Traveller, Destinasian, Jet Star Magazine, Air Nuigini Magazine, Vice Magazine, Oprah Magazine, Cruising Helmsman and Get Lost travel magazine.
I am grateful to Crumpler for their continuing support and their awesome bags that house my cameras, laptops, gidgets and gadgets. Also to Nikon who have given me a look in and continue to make great cameras that help us all take better pictures, and to all of the editors and people who have been kind enough to send me on journeys.
